A Family Tradition, in the Funeral Service Business

For Decades the Vigilante family has been the business of helping families get thought the most difficult time of their lives for over 110 Years.  This needs to be done with compassion and a knowledge to know what will be needed before the family knows they need it. In 2010 John Vigilante was honored with the Long Island Business News awarded to the top 40 business leaders under the age of 40.  The Fact that Henry, his father, always taught him that, that every family that comes in, needs to be taken care of like they were our family. This is clearly one reason for this award. Because of this firmly held family belief, John and Branch Funeral Home's reputation continues to grow.

On January 28, 2010, Long Island Business News awarded their top 40 business leaders under the age of 40. After receiving hundreds of nominations, their steering committee has narrowed it down to include only one funeral home business owner, John Vigliante of The Branch Funeral Home. John Vigliante of St James, is the co- owner and manager of The Branch Funeral Home and proud to be a fourth generation funeral director.  Since he became manager in 1999, he has not only carried on the family tradition with dignity, but has also grown the business exponentially with innovative ideas and community involvement. “I am honored to receive this award on behalf of my entire staff of The Branch Funeral Home. We have worked hard to earn the trust of our families and that is our most prized honor.   Our philosophy is to go above and beyond to make the families we serve feel like members of our family,” says John Vigliante.

Along with the funeral industry, awardees in this program also represent entrepreneurs, government, education, law, banking, not-for-profits and the high-tech industry. Since 1998, the Long Island Business News has been taking nominations for the 40 Under 40 Award. An event that started out as a small-scale business meeting has grown into one of the year’s most popular events among the business community of Long Island.

Since 1900 the Vigliante family has been helping families in their time of need.  For additional information on The Branch Funeral Home or funeral related questions, contact John Vigliante 631-724-9500 or visit www.branchfh.com.
